Tides in Lianshi Town

Between Wuzhen and Nanxun, two tourist model towns, there is an unknown ancient town called Lianshi. When I was rowing on the river in the town, I found a small isolated island hidden in the downtown area, facing the river on one side and the local factory on the other. On the island is an unknown egret habitat.

When egrets migrated south in autumn, I picked up feathers, bird bones, and scattered branches from abandoned nests on the island. I made arrows out of these materials. These arrows hide the will of the egret. It also hides the history of people and animals in the small town of Lianshi.

In addition, I picked up a glass ball in the pile of bird bones, and it can be speculated that the egret died here after eating it by mistake. The glass ball that once flew with the bird was taken back by me and became a souvenir and a part of the work.
